Appalachian Coloring Book for Adults

Gentle blue mist lingers among the ancient rolling ridges and deeply carved hollows of the Appalachian plateau. Weathered chestnut log cabins, stacked stone chimneys, and timber rail fences nestle quietly beneath leafy forest canopies. Flourishing rhododendron thickets, mountain laurels, and towering sugar maples line tumbling rocky creeks and forest trails. The soft, layered light and timeless quiet of these ancient mountains celebrate generations of mountain tranquility.

When designing the Appalachian pages, I wanted to capture the soft morning mist rising through ancient hardwood ridges and secluded mountain hollows. These illustrations complement the atmosphere in my Ohio and Great Smoky Mountains coloring books, rounding out a memorable journey through East.
