Joshua Tree Coloring Book for Adults

Brilliant high-desert sunlight casts sharp shadows across colossal weathered monzogranite boulder piles and open desert flats. The whimsical, twisting silhouettes of ancient Joshua trees stand in stark relief against expansive pale-blue skies. Spiny ocotillos, golden cholla cacti, and fragrant desert creosote bushes dot the sandy alluvial washes and rugged ridges. The silent, surreal beauty of sculpted desert rock and otherworldly flora creates an inspiring sanctuary of stillness.

While composing the Joshua Tree collection, I wanted to capture the whimsical silhouettes of ancient yuccas set against massive weathered granite boulders. These illustrations complement the atmosphere in my Palm Springs and Big Bear coloring books, rounding out a memorable journey through North America.
